Common questions
Trade & libraryHow do bookstores and libraries order Alchemilla Press titles?
Our books are distributed through Ingram. Any bookstore, library or wholesaler can order them using the account and process they already have — no separate publisher account is needed. Search by ISBN in Ipage or your usual ordering system.
What is the wholesale discount?
The Boy Who Borrowed Tomorrow is offered at a 55% discount in paperback and a 40% discount in hardcover through Ingram. The hardcover is our library edition. Write to hello@alchemillapress.com if you would like the terms confirmed in writing.
Are the books returnable?
The paperback is fully returnable. The hardcover library edition is non-returnable. Ingram's catalogue data is the authoritative source for your ordering system; ask us if you need anything confirmed before placing a first order.
Can we get a review copy or an F&G?
Yes. Reviewers, booksellers, librarians and educators can request a copy by writing to hello@alchemillapress.com with the name of your shop, library or publication.
Do your books have cataloguing data?
Each title carries a PCIP data block on the copyright page, along with a BISAC subject code, so records can be created without extra work at the library end.
Who handles rights and permissions?
Translation, subsidiary and permissions enquiries go to rights@alchemillapress.com. We reply to everything, usually within two weeks.
